Welder / Pipe Fitter

We are looking for experienced pipe fitters and TIG welders (m/f/d) in full-time positions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Complex manual TIG welding or fitting and assembly work
  • Operation of TIG/MIG welding robots
  • Varying tasks
  • Regular renewal of welding certificates

Note: During the job interview as a welder, you will need to TIG weld a pipe securely clamped in H-L045 position. Every welder in our team is also required to perform fitting tasks.

Apprenticeship Opportunity

We are looking for an apprentice to become a Tank and Apparatus Builder (m/f/d) starting on August 1, 2024.

With us, you will become a master of electricity, sparks, and flames. You will learn how to manufacture pipelines and systems by acquiring skills in welding, perfecting the use of angle grinders (“Flex”), and moving heavy components with a forklift. You will assemble and weld individual parts, ensuring that all necessary components such as pipes and flanges are procured or fabricated. Spectacular processes like flame cutting, flame straightening and pressing also come into play. You will become familiar with machines and electrical equipment, ensuring they are always functional and ready for use. You will learn to read technical documents correctly and plan work processes precisely. Additionally, you must control the quality of welds, check dimensions, and adhere to various safety regulations.

The apprenticeship typically lasts three and a half years, but the duration can be shortened to three years under certain circumstances. It is an apprenticeship program with block instruction at the BS13 school in the southern part of Hamburg. There you will learn all the essential theoretical foundations, such as the properties of different materials. The rest of the time you will be placed in our company, acquiring hands-on experience in your craft.
